Another Hummer Used By the Police Force
In recent weeks the Hummer limo has been in the news, this time another limousine was seized from a drugs trafficking ring in Canada last year. It is now being used as an anti-gang campaign within the region.
Police are using these vehicles to encourage the younger generation that crime is not cool and even has a slogan across the Hummer h2 which says "Gang life is a dead life". A Police spoke person said "This will show people organised crime doesn't pay off"
This Hummer limo was confiscated from three drug traffickers last year in Canada along with a BMW and thousands of cash. Usually all of the assets from the criminals are sold and then put into the Police force to help support crime; however in recent times Police seem to be taking a different route. They are making the criminals look stupid putting slogans on the vehicle such as 'this vehicle was seized by criminals'; this is raising awareness in areas that crime does not pay off.
The Hummer limo is now being used in a project the Police called " Operation Reclaim" and it will play its part by being a moving billboard, it will also attend major events and visit schools and colleges in the area to give a loud message of crime isn't the way.
