Big Fat Gypsy wedding trouble
The rival of Paddy Doherty his cousin has been jailed for 15 months after he bit off someone's eat after a fight. His cousin Johnny Joyce 21 challenged his elder Doherty to a brawl when he spotted him spotted him jogging back in Manchester last June. A fight ensured which Doherty came out worse where Joyce bit his top part of his ear off. Insults were then thrown at Doherty by Joyce's brother who filmed the incident on his mobile phone.
The footage was then shown were the fight spilled outside a PC world store into the busy main road with cars swerving in and out of the fight. Doherty spent five days in Manchester hospital and undergo a operation on his ear for reconstructive surgery on his face and ear. Doherty was sentenced to 51 weeks in jail and to be suspended for two years. Earlier this month at Manchester Crown court Johnny Joyce was imprisoned at the same court.
Their sentencings were kept apart after the court heard with bad blood coming between the two families and the travelling community.
